Default rear bag speaker wire

Has anyone ran speaker wire thru the rear bag supports for speakers in the bag lids. If so could post some pics please

I've never seen it done. Usually a small hole or larger, depending, is drilled to accommodate the passage of speaker wires.

i didn't take pics but yes.

ran the wire in the chrome fender trim, down to the lower part of the bag. measured 3" up from bottom and 3" in from back and popped a hole. Put a grommet that was a tad bit smaller (ID) than the speaker wire which was wrapped in heat shrink by the way. Put a quick disconnect about 6" from outside bag. This was on a street glide so it had the fender extensions and all is hidden.

ah sorry.. you're talking about the supports themselves. I can see that being done with a fair amount of ease. make sure to silicone and grommet the metal holes and use a silicone that is NON-acidic. Other types of silicon will eat your chrome and rust.
