Not all spoke wheels have tubes--I run aftermarket "radial" 40-spoke rims--no tubes.

Tubeless tires are for cast wheels.
The tires are the same, laced wheels or cast. It will still say "tubeless" on the tire. The tube is required because of the type of wheel ( laced ).

Tubes suck; been that way for 30 years!! i hate tubes, they go flat everytime you pass a nail on the road.

General rule of thumb spokes = tubes. Better safe than sorry,k but to each there own. Ride safe and enjoy.

if you have a bike with bags you should carry a 12 volt pump at all times..if you have a tubeless tire you should carry a plug kit...if you have a tube tire carry a bottle of green slime for tubeless tires from auto part store...if possible carry all three in your car and motorcycle and save a brother on the side of the road....and on those terms if you do not help a biker on the side of the road regardless if you are on your bike...you suck!

What if it's the other way around. Can tubes go on a cast wheel; or can tires that say "tube type" be tubeless on a cast rim?
thanks
