This is actually what I would like to do, but there is one problem. I can't find one and my friends won't let me take it off theirs. But very nice if one had access to a wrecked bike or something.

[quote=JohnCA58;11923586]I am running a 180 on my 00 RK, I took a 09 fender and scalloped it to fit between the frame, from the rear bag support strut forward and built a metal fascia to hide the scalloped part of fender, or you can also check with Russ Wernimont designs RWD they have a rear fender kit also for the 180 fitment that doesn't look like a overlay, it fit between the frame rails. I am running a chain with a 120 c.i. motor. the easiest would be the 07 S.E. Road King fender, that bike came out with a 180/16 on it.

John,
Did you stretch this fender off the 09 (nice looking). Iam going with a stretched fender. All this info is very helpful and puts me on the right track. I'll check out RWD also. Paul with Native custom baggers has an option fit also with either a steel stretch or molded I found out about today. He is sending me pics and pricing too. Thanks to all for your help!

There was a gent here a few years back that took an 09 fender, cut it so it would mount between the stock frame horns and got a narrow set of pulleys or something I think.
He made it work with a belt (I think) and it looked good. Forget his name...

The thread is on here somewhere...

I think you're referring to Recycled. He welded a '07 & '09 fender together, and widened a '07 swing arm.
I did the '07-'08 CVO parts on my '00.

I did stretch the fender so I could run the 3 light bar. FBI also makes a metal fascia now for single exh or dual. when i did this project, no one had anything in the market, now there quite a few kits out.

Also, no need to widen the swing arm, use either one inch belt (08) or 530 chain.

Funny, JohnCA58 (from above) should have known right away. That's Timberland's photo of the 180 sitting in the frame... I knew I'd seen that somewhere!
