Default Ultra limited v cvo

Is it worth paying the extra for the cvo over the ultra limited, there nearly £ 30k in the uk, big difference is the 110 engine but with the improvements to the standard 103 is it really that tangible any more and is it worth 9k extra.

Default Cvo

Not to me.

If you want the most bling and the 110, you have to decide if it's worth it to you.

In the same model, the CVO is quite a bit nicer than the lesser model and better than the $ difference. I would take the CVO if I could afford either one.

Imo you can bling up the limited for couple thousand and be way under cost of cvo. The 103 on the 14 is very close to stock 110 config. You would be missing heated seat.. keyless locks.. and nicer paint. The two bikes are closer in value than in previous years but price differential about the same. I'm never buying a 40k bike again.

It's all in what you're looking for. More bling, get the CVO. Basically the same function, get the Limited.

I went thru this exact same thought process. One thing a regional manager from the MoCo told me once though is if you're going to bling out your bike anyway, get the CVO since you get higher resale since the bling is already on the bike. You typically don't get anywhere near you money back on stuff you put on a bike from the P&A catalog.

I think it would be easier if one of the cvo colour schemes blew me away, the only one that is any good is the blue / black. I also agree if your going to put lots of extras on might as well get the CVO...... Not complaining nice decision to have

Are you buying a bike to resell it, or to ride it?

Ride it I learnt a long time ago you rarely make any money on motorcycles
I love the saying, spent most of my money on bikes, booze and women the rest I wasted

I concur.

Buy the one YOU want to ride.

Nobody can answer your question but yourself.

Me? I bought the Limited, and will add what trinkets and bits I desire, and I believe the 103 is the sweet spot on the twin cam. Not a big fan of the 110.
I love the paint on the CVOs, but couldn't justify 12 grand for paint.

...and keyless locks.
