I could care less about the CB, never use it but with a 1000 gift card you could do a decent stage one or a hard wired GPS on the 13 and be dollars ahead.Also those chrome wheels on either limited are a bitch to keep clean so I just don't.The 14 has the better stereo,saddle bags and vented fairing although I don't have a real buffeting issue with my 13.

 

I have a 2013 limited and if I was choosing between the 2 now I would get the ultra. I love my bike, but it would cost way more to add ipod integration, new forks and triple tree plus the easy open bags and extra passenger space from new tour pack placement then it would to add heated grips. The wheels you can change out later with something really cool.

 

Wow, I'm thinking I'll stick with the 14. I appreciate all the 13 LTD owners opinions. The fact that you all love your bikes and would still probably get the 14 is the deciding factor for me. I really appreciate the input, this forum is great.

Now I just have to get out of Africa and get home to get the bike, ride safe. Duty First!

Looks like you made up your mind....good for you. It's a matter of what you like better. For me, the Limited is a much nicer bike even when you factor in the changes from '13 to '14 on the UC. I'd have gotten the Limited, but then I am obviously biased as I love mine and have no aspirations to get a new bike. Good luck.

I have a 13 limited and really like the bike. Test rode a 14 and the handling was so much better due to the redisigned triple tree and bigger forks. Thats enough reason for me to choose a 14 over a 13.

 

A dealer a couple hundred miles away has 4 new two tone 2013 Limiteds, discounted 3k. I wonder what the discount will be in December? That blue/black 2 tone is a stunner.

Since I am not a radio guy at all (I don't use it in the car either) the 2013 Ltd would be my choice. At 3k off the 2 tone 2013 Ltd it is a thousand cheaper than a black 2014 UC, and who knows, by December that might be a thousand or 2 more.

 

Ultra Classic has CB. Both my 08 (traded) and my 13 Ultra have CB. Personally, I wouldn't touch a 14. My experience with HD is when they make major changes, it takes them about 2 years to get it correct. I made a similar decision just a few weeks ago, and purchased the 13 for those reasons. Have you seen all of the recall notices on the 14?
