Smile Good deal

My dealer noticed a scratch on my inner fairing straight out of the box and ordered a new one to be changed under warranty. We discussed it and on the '14, the painted inner is $560 and several hours labor. So now the labor is warrantied and they let me take the replacement fairing and have it paint matched. Cost: $75. Install scheduled for 2 days from now.

That's a fantastic price to get it painted! The prep alone would cost more then that around here. Add the paint, clear, and final buffing, and you get up there.

You got a great deal. + getting the install done for free, WOW!

I thought so. There was one slight problem, though. The little compartment door wasn't done, so I have to take it back for that. Painter says he can do it in place so I won't have to pay 2 hrs labor to have it taken out and then put back in. He's done work for me before and always first rate. So far so good. Steelerdude, I guess misery loves company. I'm a Buc's fan.

I guess I still have the Pen's, even though they took a beating tonight.
