Well I am not buying a 2014 - I have too much into my 09 FLHX. But I was curious if the saddlebags lineup for mounting a 2014 Saddlebag on a pre-2014 touring bike.

The one handed operation and larger volume sounds like a good idea. if so, I also haven't looked if they make an extended saddlebag for the 2014's.

I guess anyone have a 2014 touring and a touring from earlier? Fell like doing a favour and doing a quick swap?

So I did a search, didn't find it, but in different wording this has already been asked. I guess never mind. It can be done, and requires a mod on the front mount.

I'm guessing if you go with a bolt and locknut, then it might be easier still.

 

Sounds like all you 2014 baggers better bolt you bags on! (kidding of course)
