There is the HD we have all come to know and love! While everybody watched for coolant they slipped a killer clutch in on you!

I hope people post dealer comments they get when everybody starts ringing their phones. Even have to pick these up. WOW! Dealers are going to hate that. Well,, in most areas of the country winter is coming on. It'll give dealers something to busy themselves with.

2600 trouble free miles in two months this summer with the 2014, after 5400 miles on my 2012, I can live without the bike for a week.... maybe.

This is undeniably the quietest (mechanically), smoothest running, hardest pulling, ride on rails feeling HD that I have ever had. The GPS issues are undeniably minor and annoying to only the most pecksniffiant of people, the brake pedal angle is a minor annoyance, the one touch tour and saddle bags are fantastic, the improved fairing makes 450+ mile days a true breeze, the cooling system works as advertised and in 100+ degree days there is never a knock, ping or stumble, the brakes are the best I have ever had on a big bike, Goldwing included, the seat is almost perfect.... no major complaints and the clutch isn't one either.

I like the bleeding edge of Harleys new 1990's technology!
Ah love it!!

.....hmm..wonder how hard it will be to sell a 14, 3-5 years from now..it might become one of the "stay away" years if they don't put out the fire soon on all these "issues"...good luck guys with 14's..hope the clutch thing is the last bug, and you get to relax a little...

Sure enough. 3 threads on the first page about the recall. Maybe a couple of people saw this and decided not to add another thread. I'll be glad when all the 2014 hoopla is over so we can get back to talking about all the other touring bikes that harley made. Who knew that (seemingly) half the forum ran out and bought a new bike!

A voluntary recall just means that hd acted on the repair before the nhtsa got involved and it turned into a media frenzy and could have potentially cost hd some big money.

Actually Freedom of speech does not apply here, this is a privately owned site with moderators who decide what you can and can't say. You can submit whatever comment you desire, but it is the mods who decide if that comment gets deleted or not, heck you as a member can be deleted.

Having said that, you are not guaranteed any constitutional rights on anything or anywhere that is privately owned......Just saying.
