Just got the call my bike is ready to go, the bad news I can't pick it up till Monday, I have to work the next three days. Originally scheduled to take delivery on the 17th and they called the 16th and told me about the recall. I was off for a week hoping to break it in. They call me today my last day of vacation and tell me it's ready. Can't get over there today so Monday it is. It is what is I'll live.

Well the parts didn't even get received until 10/23 in many areas last I checked. So it's done the next day? What's the problem? Take a taxi if you have to and send Harley the bill. lol

I won't bash you, because if the dealer tells me they are going to do something , I will hold them to it, and if they tell me no on the return, I would remind them of what I was told, and give them a chance, if that fails , I would ride 150 miles to another dealer.
Integrity means a lot to me, and I expect it from others.

They picked mine up Monday afternoon, and dropped it off Tues afternoon. Can't ask anymore of them than that.

Had mine done this morning. Rode it in, dealer did their legal obligation and told me not to. No issues with mine. Service guy told me mine was the 11th they checked and none had a problem. The other thing seems to be a shortage of parts. They are to rebuild the clutch master cylinder regardless. That had 20 bikes and 13 rebuild kits. More show up every day though.

They picked mine up today after giving me 30 mins notice to drive home from work. Two guys with an enclosed U-Haul - and a 14 CVO Ultra already loaded. Mine squeezed in and my wife gave them a pillow to wedge between my left side bag bar and the right side of the CVO's bag. Plus the exit door on the trailer was locked, no key, and the guys had to climb back out over the bikes. Not a pretty picture. As for delivery back - I can't criticize someone wanting delivery. I'm 100 miles away from the dealer (rural AR) and if my bride is out of town -which she is next week - I'm without transport.
