Update 10/19/2013. My recall was completed today. Dealer picked up my bike late morning and it was ready about an hour before they closed. The repair kit included the clutch master cylinder plunger assembly. They also checked to make sure it had the proper clutch plate, which it did. Kudos to the HD regional service rep in helping expedite shipment of the recall kit and to my dealer for the quick turnaround of the repairs. I could not be happier with the priority and urgency I have received in resolving this recall issue. I can say the same for resolution of my coolant issues also.

It could be in my head because I know a fix has been made but the clutch seems to engage much more smoothly and shifting gears is smoother also. I should note that I have 2551 miles on my Limited and had never noticed any clutch abnormalities. I hope everyone else gets their recall kit applied as soon as possible.

When you pick your bike up, that is called "taking delivery", thus, the dealer "delivers" it.

Not interested. Actually, not interested in anything newer than 2006. It's been 2+ years since I got my 2007 and the only thing I like about it better than my 2004 is the gearing in 5th. I don't particularly have a high opinion of the route the moco has taken in terms of technological improvements, mainly because I don't consider them improvements. I may be the only one, but I'd be perfectly happy with a carb'd TC88 with gear drive cams or the hydraulic tensioner mod.

I'll be buying one of these new fangled bikes - in about 6 years (I buy a new bike every 9 years). Hopefully by then they'll have sorted out the kinks!

They will flame you on this forum for not knowing terms such as "taking delivery and pulling the trigger." There should be a prerequisite to know these terms before joining this forum.

Cool

Dude your all over my simple question
You must be a dealer or a troll

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[6]

When I bought my '11 with the 103 they said, "man I'd never buy the first year of an engine change, you're going to have lots of problems"

28,000 miles, zero issues.

There is no indication that I am going to have any problems out of either of my '14s.

It is the same engine, FFS. They added a couple of water ports, and put the cams in that are very similar to what most guys change to anyway, and upped the comp to 10.0.

Hyd clutch issues? They have been selling hyd clutches for years.
Somebody screwed up, and the mothership responded in a very responsible manner to try and get these fixed.

Although neither of mine have shown any indication of the problem.
