I am taking them to the dealer for due diligence on the recall, but it is just that: due diligence.
I wholeheartedly agree....although apparently I'm in the wrong line of business as I've only got 1 2014 in the garage.. ;-)

I love the new 2014 lineup. The motor feels much more capable. Twisting the throttle actually does more than just making more noise, The new sound system is top notch, the bigger saddlebags and tour pack are phenomenal and good looking IMO. Plus they made a million little changes that make riding a much more pleasant experience all around. i.e. gas cap, bag guards, lower fairing storage. Finally you have the redesign that finally brings Harley in to the modern age. LEDS, modern lines. Sharp looking bikes.

Was that one of the poll options?

Your Poll is Troll BS...Why a 14? Because that what I wanted...I could give a rats *** how much it bothers other people how much I spent, how unreliable, leaking oil, breaking down, new model, etc...I've heard this about all the Harley's i've owned(4), and NOT ONE HAS LEFT ME ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD! (can't say that about the Yammie, or the suzuki that both did, and on more than one occasion!)....

Certainly sad.. Im around 1600 miles and no problems other than it engaging right off the grip which is a pain in the ***. If I know for SURE it could be avoided by not pulling in the clutch off the stand I would just bleed it out myself and ride it until they received the parts.

I missed 2 days of commuting in LA traffic, 5 hours of extra work which cost me a very good penny, and now 2 weekend days of riding with one big *** annual ride up to Lake Castaic.

SOOOOOO NOT HAPPY!

it should of been one of the poll options right there, well said brother.

I got rid of a vrod muscle and went to the SGS, first touring bike ive ever had. The power of the new cammed 103 is as good as a 110 two years back,
The technology and touch screen is very cool and modern. I have had little to no complaints (except hard to get into neutral but that's common every year)
I almost bought a '13 but glad I waited for the '14,,, the price is similar but SOOO many upgrades.
Theres really no right answer here, because if youre happy with your current bike keep it. If you want to get more modern, more power, less wind, more handy, better looking (IMOP) then get a '14. Either way you cant go wrong
