Well, only because you asked for it.
There is something to be said for buying local.

No calls No E mails nothing. But I am sure dealer will handle it. Bought my bike at a fairly large dealer ship its Unreasonable to think they can give a loaner bike to everybody.

I did buy local. I just have about 6 dealerships within 2 hours of my house. The one I went to treated me the best. So does anyone have an actual answer that could help?

My SGS is set for NOV 2nd they said like everything with the 14's they haven't gotten very much info from the MOCO and don't know when parts will be available. I think we need to get some info together and start some type of action. No riding for best part of year for two weeks. We should get equivalent of half a payment at least. its not the dealers fault. Love bike but so much for years of design...lol

Called the dealer this morning. Since I've got to be out of town next week anyway, I'm riding mine in tomorrow and dropping it off. He said I should have it back by the time I get back into town.

Kinda cool, the salesman called me about 10 minutes after I got off the phone with the service manager.

And yes, I plan to take the long way:-)

My 14 SGS is at the dealer now waiting for the parts to arrive tomorrow at 9:30am as MOCO agreed to overnight them.

I got a loaner through my extended service plan to take on my 4 day ride to the Grand Canyon and Sedona I had planned which Im on right now. Its a 13 Limited and its a total piece of sh!#!

Pretty bummed Im riding a loaner and with all the problems Im having with 14 bikes (Limited buy back and now this)

Well,.... its good to hear that you guys are getting better service than I was offered. I called up my dealer this morning to set up a time for them to come get my 14 Limited and they said they are not picking up any bikes at this time since they do not have the parts to make the repairs. I was informed that the parts are "expected" to be shipped to dealers 10-22-13, and that they would start scheduling pickups at that time. The service manager stated that at this time they are just telling people not to ride their bike. I said OK and asked if they were going to provide me a loaner until mine is fixed and I was promptly told no.
