Doesn't bother Me . Only complaint I've had about my 14 is ye clutch issue and they are addressing that and fixing it . Rather fix it now quick and easy rather than later

It took Honda 10 months to recall 126,000 Gold Wing Motorcycles for Rear Brake System Flaw.

Default Factory Delays Due to recall

My new SGS was due in yesterday and the dealer called and said 1 week delay at the factory due to clutch issues they are fixing on all bikes that came off the line but have not shipped that really sucks since I'm going in for knee surgery next Tuesday so my bike will arrive and I can't even take it for a ride

I have had a recall on three of my last four cars as well. I am not too worried about them. I think we here in the forum world are more sensitive to the memory of it then perhaps any "casual" shopper in the future.

Of course the cooling system is a whole other issue, but I am really not sure how wide spread it is yet.
ya, I hear ya..lots of recalls with cars...I'm thinking if they modify the cooling system next year..this year's cooling system may wind up kind of like the early Magnetti-Morelli (spelling?), injection systems..not real desirable on the used market...that's why some of us are going to make decisions on buying after we see wht/if they change the 2015 wet-cooling components...

Harley recommends not riding. I will be riding this weekend. Never had any problems and do not need a clutch to stop the bike. I will deal with them come Monday.

Wow man sorry to hear the bad news. When i got my first bike i only got 2 good weekends in to ride it before i was down for 3 months due to a surgery gettin tendons reconnected in my finger from a work accident. I spent many hours polishing with one hand in that period of time. She shined when i was able to hit the road again lol

You may want to rethink your ride. You may have a liability issue; knowingly riding your bike when you have knowledge of a safety recall. Your insurance company would be all over this if you crashed' even if the cause was not related to the recall at all. America is even more litigious than Canada and the fact you have declared to the world that you are going to ignore the safety recall may come back to bite you.
