Well just got a call from the Dealer regarding the Clutch recall I am 13th on the list for pick up i love the bike but the timing is terribel I already had palns for the Galveston rally i wonder if the dealer will give me a loaner lol

 

Every TX rider on a 14 with a hyd clutch is affected.

I'm affected twice.

 

My dealer called me early this morning. They are coming to pick up my 14 Limited next Tuesday morning. Correct pressure plates being shipped from MOCO next week. All that is needed is pull off primary cover and check the plate. If good one, then a new seal and put the cover back on. All of 5 minutes to check. I have 2400 trouble free miles with NO issues, but was advised for safety reasons NOT to ride the bike before they check it. So I will be playing in my Jeep this weekend instead of riding. Not a big deal.

 

In all seriousness, I thought all 2014 touring bikes had the hydraulic clutch, so this was an informative discussion. Sorry about the one posters breakfast.

now I'm confused. First its 'rebuild the master' then its check the 'clutch plate' via primary check cover.
Any dealer/tech's out there with the scoop to let us know?
Guess the main issue is air leak in the system.

my sgs built on 8/12/2013. I am on the check list so I would double check your bike.

 

I just received a call from the dealer. The person said that hd recommends not riding until it is checked. He said they will have parts for the repair next week. He said they will send a tech to my house if the repair can be done on site, if not they will pick up my bike and return it. He said he will call me again when they have more info so to make the arrangements

 

Good to hear in going to get this fixed
Have had problems with mine so far it's only been temporarily fixed a few times by bleeding the system
