Search is your friend, then you would have found many post on this and not put up another one.

 

They apparently "cheapened down" some of the hard parts in the hydraulic clutch versus what went into the CVO's to save some mass production money. Let that be a lesson to them if that is what they did...........I know my 12 got some of the beefier SE parts in my 103" that they didn't try to "cheapen" with a different design to save some $$$$.

I must have slipped through the cracks..My build date is 8-13 but there is nothing for my vin on the HD site and no email. Guess I will have to call my dealer..

Apparently there are two recalls now. One for the master cylinder and one for clutch plates or ramp or something.

Yeah I knew the CVOs never reported a bunch of problems. Guess they redesigned a part or screwed up during manufacturing these new bits.

OMG, a recall....oh no, better sell the 14 now and go back and get a 1995. What the **** is wrong with a lot of people on this forum? I have had 14 for less then a week. HD is being proactive. So did people stop buying toyota tundra trucks when they had a brake recall? Of course not. They do it to keep everyone safe. Not every bike will have an issue. Out of the 30,000 bikes out there, I am sure only a few have had an issue. And about 5 it seems have had coolant leak. Big ****ing Deal.

Quit justifying why you didn't buy a 14 saying its because of the clutch or coolant. That's the dumbest pile of **** I have ever heard.
