I like my 12' Limited very much. All things considered, it was the best bike on the market for me as was my last Harley. I would not say I am hard core loyal to the brand. If another manufacturer built a touring bike as comfortable and stylish and also provided the feel that riding HD provides I would consider buying one. I just don't see that happening and there is nothing like that available today.

I'm a retired Army Sergeant Major, I work part time for the Department of State and I'm not bleeding money any more since I left my contracting job making a ridiculous salary. But my motorcycles will be the last things to depart our property. It's the American way. Uhhh.....I also use to complain about paying property taxes as I looked outside at the two Corvettes, new truck 20 foot toy hauler and three Harleys parked in the drive way.

I bought a cheap metric to learn on. I couldn't think about learning on a Harley and dropping it or something. I had it for 4 months, and decided it was HD time. I've not looked back since then.

When I was a younger man, I rode Jap rockets. Always figured Harley " Baggers" were an old man's bike. When I became an old man, I bought one and realized I was right. It takes riding time on other bikes to truly realize what a great bike Harley is. Won't want to ride anything else.

ra ra ra whatever.I like my 13 "Limited" allot but I probably could have been just as happy with a Goldwing .Never been that guy that HAS to have a Harley.Availability, price, dealer support, and comfort all made the decision.I would have had to travel 150mi just to look at a Goldwing or a Victory and passenger comfort on the Rocket 3 was not good.Victory's are still fugly and plasticy looking. The Japanese brands, other than the Goldwing just look like Harley knock offs.BMWs are just plain hideous and stupid tall.
