Does anyone know why, when I change my pointer on the 2014 GPS to the bike as my position it will always go back to the pointer again? anyone else have this problem?

They all do the same thing. Maybe they will have update that will correct it?

 

Mine also, have not seen how you can save settings.

 

It's a glitch in the software. Hopefully a future release fixes it because there are a lot of geezers here that refuse to buy a 2014 because they could not enjoy a ride on a bike that uses a blue arrow icon on the GPS. Clearly a green analog screen beats it hands down.

 

Same issue here, I have changed it while I had the bike on accessory and as soon as you start the bike, it starts off as the pointer again. One question, is the bike blue on all the screens or does it match the bike colour?

 

Mine screen is orange.

Bike is Amber Whiskey/Vivid Black.

But you can go into settings and change that to whatever color you want.

 

The bike icon on mine is black.

 

Mine decides on its own to show the pointer or not. Instead of the bagger or streetglide or arrow my has little words that say "Buy Extended warranty"

 

I see that many of you are having trouble with the "pointer" returning to the arrow. Could someone give me the step by step instructions on how to change my pointer from the arrow to my bike? I cannot find it anywhere in my owner's manuals.
