Default Cableext Kit for ABS bikes....

I am having a hard time finding a full cable kit for my '13 SG w/ABS. I am wanting to put 14 inch Apes on her, but need to get this kit. Someone told me he thought that with the 13 the ABS was in the hub so all brake cable should be the same? Anyone know if this is indeed the case? Thanks for the help as usual.

I've got a 2010 flhtk, and I put 12 s on it.had to change upper front brake line. Put a longer clutch cable on it, and extended the handle bar switch wiring. The abs bikes have a special bearing
on one side of the wheel so changing the bars doesn't effect that.

X2 for Magnum Shielding. I think you'll need a mid and upper brake line, hence the 2 piece.

Magnum Shielding is the way to go for your ABS equipped bike. ABS lines are in three sections you can do just two to save money (mid and upper) or all three for the complete package.

You only need the upper to do a bar change. You can change the others to match later or do it all at once.

So going with 14's you are all saying I only need the extended brake line (3 piece for whole package)?

I installed 14's on mine and changed only the upper brake from abs to the bars. Will change the rest later on. It's basically up to you but the upper line is all that's needed. Replacing the others is just so they will match.

^^^^^ thanks!!! I was afraid that all the internal wires/throttle would not be long enough!
