HD LED Reflector or Daymaker LED Headlight?
Has anyone compared these two headlights? Some people have complained of a narrow light width on the Daymaker. In HD's description of the Reflector it says it puts out a wide viewing angle? I'm looking to put one or the other on a 14 Street Glide

I'm thinking of getting these new Daymakers for my '13 RK. A neighbor down the street has the original Daymakers on his SG and says he likes 'em. They're great at night. However, when I see him coming down the road during the day, the lights are hard to tell if they're on unless I'm looking at him straight on. Could be from the narrow beam from the LEDs. looks like these newer ones are the ticket and can be seen easily from the side like the stock lights.

The Daymaker lights are the ones Harley has been offering for several years. The reflector is the Truck Light Phase 7 lights that have been reviewed many times on this forum.
Both give very bright and white light that make night driving much more enjoyable and safer. I have the Phase 7 and they give a much wider spread and a much deeper light at night. Feels like at least twice the light as stock.
Some do not like them for daytime use as they are very bright and distince when directly in front of them, but do not grab your eye when viewed from an angle.
They use about 1/3 the electricity to run as the stock lights, and do not tend to burn out all the time as the stock lights.
H-D Reflector is about $100 less than the Daymaker, and about $100 more than the same from Truck Light.
2014 has a twin plug in mount. Harley provides (extra cost) a plug in adaptor to use in the new touring bikes.
