Default New speedo

I have be able to purchase a near new set of gauges for my '07 Ultra.
The donor bike had done 1200 miles. When I install the new gauges will there be a way to set the speedo to the real miles the bike has done (either me or dealer)?

Check with your dealer. They can certainly get a new speedo set to your current milage however I don't think that they can program a used speedo. To get the milage to match, others have acquired a speedo with more milage and then install the speedo when the odometer readings match. This is what I am looking to do.

since you said "set of gauges" - regarding the tach. don't know what bike they came from but if one bike has ABS and the other doesn't, there can be issues with the ABS light. For example, if the tach was originally on a bike with ABS, when you reinstall it on a bike without ABS, the ABS light will be on and stay on. I've seen it, and it's been explained to me as "that's just the way it is"
