As others said....this is the worst time to look for a deal. Pay it or wait.

 

They have many other costs involved in selling the bike other than what they paid for the bike. Each bike they discount dilutes the value of future sales, inventory isn't unlimited, someone else will pay more than you are willing to. Congrats on standing firm to the number that you're comfortable with, you'll probably get your price down the road sometime.

WOW! Same exact bike as mine except for XM $1982.00 more! For a few bucks more you could by a limited at my dealer.

28K should easily be a limited..

 

Keep in mind it's under $26K for everything. Adding the sales tax, 8% in his case, is what takes it to $28K.

A limited is $31,000 OTD here, and my budget won't stretch that far.
