Default Harbor Freight Bike Lift?

Harbor Freight is selling a 1500 lb Bike Lift. Normally $119.95, but I have a coupon for $74.95.

I am going to go take a look at it to make sure it is steel construction, but I was curious if anyone else with a bagger uses this lift?

The Sears lift is $101, so I do not want to save $26 and buy the wrong lift...

I have the harbor freight lift and hand used it for a couple of years. I recently used it for my ultra during the handle bar swap with no problems

There's a lot of folks who won't use anything but a $500 jack, but the Harbor Freight jack is all I've ever used and it works fine for me. No issues ever. There's about a million threads on this subject. Btw, the word "lift" usually denotes a lift table, not a jack.

Like you, I went to our local HF store to look over and test both of their m/c jacks for quality, stability and functionality. Not going to tell anyone how to spend their well-earned money, especially these days, but my bike sits on a J&S jack. Wasn't impressed with HF at all...JMO and you could see things different. Not trying to start another "jack war" here, just voicing my input.

I have the yellow steel jack, which works fine.

I did a survey on here looking at mishaps. There were no reported incidences of jack failure but numerous examples of operator error. Virtually all mishaps flowed from faulty tie-down practices.
