I'm looking to order the Harley Davidson sedona orange color matched lower fairings online. I was wondering what was the best place to order them. I usually order straight from the dealer but I have learned from the forums here that there are places to order from online that are cheaper. Would someone be willing to help me out with a few credible places. Also, are they worth the money? I have a 35 mile commute to work and the temperature is starting to drop in my area.

 

I've looked on eBay and there are several choices on there. I'm not sure what the quality is though. I'm looking for some as well. I met a guy from my local HD shop and he said he bought a pair on Craigslist. They didn't look too shabby.

 

There is a guy in Arlington, Texas (Fort Worth) who has a business called Hogg Chopps. You can find him by Googling his name. He has a very good looking set of lower fairings that he has been selling for 7 or 8 years now. They are very well made and his hardware is excellent. I have a set that I got back in 08. He sells the unpainted lowers and the hardware for $239.00 plus shipping. He does have somebody local that will paint them for an extra $150.00 I believe. This is not a large business so when you call him you will be talking to the owner/janitor/bookkeeper/shipper etc. He is a nice guy and really does try to help you. If you have a local painter nearby, that is the route I would go if I were to buy another set. They come ready to paint.

 

Thanks for your input but I kind of want to go with the Harley ones. I like there look.

I always thought.. ah it's HD, nobody can make them like that.. I was wrong

can't tell the difference between stock and the ones I have on there now so not sure what lowers you're looking at...

Be prepared for a 6 week lead on color matched parts. That is what my dealer told me for my color matched inner fairing and lowers. Not sure if different colors take a different amount of time.
