If you honestly believe this to be a true statement then you have yet to hear a really good system. On my last bike I had 4 polks and an amp that would blow away ANYTHING put together by J&M.

With regard to hearing anything above 70: You are doing something wrong, have severely degraded hearing, or both.

With regard to rears: Rears are really for the passenger and for filler. They aren't doing all that much for you at 70 no matter what system you are running.

While I see your point, I'd have to disagree here. I had both my fronts go out on me during a trip, and the rears kept me with tunes for the majority of the 900 mile trip home. I've also purposely ridden the highway with rears off/on to see the difference. (I was debating on wether it was worth it to upgrade the rears). While they don't give you sound like the fronts do, you can absolutely hear them, and they definitely round out the sound "pocket" your sitting in.

Default Hogtunes

Hogtunes with tweeter pod. Great sound. in addition Hogtunes in the lower fairings, J&M lid speakers and two hogtunes amps under the fairing. Kick azz sound. Not to mention J&M speaker pods in my detachable tour pack.
