Just got my SGS on Tuesday. Installed the 7" windsplitter today. Better than stock, but not there yet. Just ordered the 9" LRS.

I'm going through the same procedure now waiting on my 7" really hope it works because even thought the wind splitter is more expensive than other shields like the LRS I love the look and design. If I have to move to the 10" WS I'm getting some kind of tint put on it since its only sold as clear.

Wait on your dealer to get the new windsplitter demo shields in if they haven't already. Why waste $150+ on a windshield that won't work if you have the option to try it out first?

This is a new experience for me I might end up selling several shields on ebay by the time I'm done lol

I went to my local dealer to try and demo the 7 inch wind splitter but they don't have them in yet for the 2014's. I've been hearing great reviews on the LRS shields.
Saw a goldwing with the 7 foot shield. It seemed to appear top heavy to me.

If that 7" doesn't work for you, let me know...

Might try it on the SGS.
