I put one Fob with a carabiner in my windshield pouch while i ride, as soon as i get off the bike i lock the ignition and the fob goes on my belt loop....once i get back to the bike unlock the ignition fob goes back to the pouch.....10 years never lost one, routine becomes very routine......second FOB was never used, needed, but it does get its batteries changes at the same time but it stays home....not paying tons for a replacement.

I keep the key and FOB in my pocket when ever I ride. On trips the spare is in my luggage with the battery installed upside down to disable it. If that fails I have the Security Card from the manual in my wallet. I also copied the security bypass procedures and PIN to a note in my iPhone which also adds a copy to my iPad through iCloud syncing.

With my bike key and disc lock key, and house key on my chain wallet when I'm away from the bike, or in the tour pak when I'm riding. But, I have never activated the security system on it so I don't know why the hell I carry it around. I NEVER leave the bike anywhere without locking the ignition and fork and using the Zena disk lock.
Someone please convince me to activate the security feature.
