Gotta agree with that, sat on one at the dealer and the new bars are perfect. Exactly what I've been looking for to replace my stock bars on the '12. Anyone know the part number on the new bars?

I just rode home my new 2014 RK today. I'm the lucky S.O.B. AlaskaAviator was referring to. Very nice bike. Love the new saddlebags and for a stock motor pretty good power.

Im thinking the new bars are close to the heritage bend that everybody was putting on previous years Road Kings ? I'm leaning toward the King because it kind of has the look of my heritage , but I could put a Electra Glide seat on it , and a tour pak to make the wife happy. And the only radio I care about hearing is the sound of the V-twin between my legs.

I looked at one at the dealers the other day, bars are either Heritage or reduced reach, it also had laced rims on it so I checked to see if Project Rushmore addressed the stupid rear wheel valve stem placement......nope, still crammed in between the spokes with no extension or right angle so no one with hands bigger than a toddler can get at it.

I have a 2014 Road King. I think the bike is perfect as it is and am not planning on changing anything other than adding a passenger back rest and a luggage rack.
The following are things that they changed from 2013. New handle bars, bigger forks, new saddle bags, higher flow air cleaner, new cams, linked brakes on ABS models and new ten spoke mag wheels. There might be another thing or two that I can't think of right now.
It's a great bike.
