Pretty much have this bike the way I envisioned it. It took a bit of time but finally there. (Well the new clutch this winter and braided lines in front.) I couldn't find a CVO in Merlot when we bought this one. So I decided to build my version. Yes, I stuck a whole lot of $$$ into it, but I now have what I wanted.

After work last week I rode out to take some photos at the end of the day. The very first one Mother Nature provided a "fly-over" for me. It is so hard to get Merlot to show it's true color/flake...

 

Your bike is FINE! And it is all yours. I like CVO's but I like to play with mine, change stuff, etc. And I will never pull next to an identical one. Sometimes my friends aren't sure if there parked next to my bike cuz I'll have played with some stuff and changed it out during the week.
