The best? In the arena of cat-less headers, you can throw in a de-catted, stock header and you'll get similar results from all four.

With EPA going Wild these day I was thinking, keep the stockhead pipe with the cat still
in it. JMO

I did. Got it in a box down in my workshop. Bought a cat-less header on Ebay!

V&H has had issues with O2 sensor placement, don't know if they've addressed that or not. Fullsac makes a nice pipe, but it's made out of mild steel and they publish no warranty. Jackpot's pipe is made from tig-welded stainless steel and carries a lifetime warranty.

Easy choice for me.

Taking Cats out of stock headers works but it does not work as well as a good Header like Fuel Moto 2-1-2.
I wasted my time doing it the cheap way .
Notice hanging on the wall left side so yes I have been there done that .
Even with a tune the removing the Cats from stock headers results in a loss of torque and no tune will fix that. Even if you keep stock pipes. HD had to free up the stock exhaust a bit to make up for the restriction of the Cats.
Going with a good Header like 2-1-2 bike tunes better and easier and you get the torque it should have.
Wait save the cash do it right your bike will tahnk you

The nice thing about the Fuel Moto headers is that you can order them ceramic coated inside *and* out. Fullsac has a nice product, outside coated only tho. Probably not an enormous difference, but the FM materials and workmanship may be somewhat better. I've run Fullsac products with no issues, so I dont think you can really go wrong with any of the ones you mention.

Catless stock header was $135 delivered on ebay. Fuel Moto starts at $479. Mine still looks factory original, runs cooler, and sounds better. Exactly what I was looking for.

I don't think I'll ever feel the difference. But, it would be interesting to see dyno comparisons. Still, I don't think I'd miss a few ft/lbs of torque or a couple of horses.

Don't know if one is better than the other, but the FM on mine has been good for the last 21000 miles.

I just put the Vance and Hines on mine. If the placement issue was that it was to high making the wire to short to route the same way the original did. It has not been addressed. Had to either take it over the top of the transmission which I didn't like or around the transmission cover which really pulls on the wire. I chose option two and just hoping my wire doesn't break.
