I have a CVO road king with the usual goodies and the SE Pro tuner. Went to 4 different tuners total and threw away a lot of cash before I found one that got it right.

I recently added a Road Glide Ultra as a second bike. did a Power Vision from FM. Told them I was doing an A/C and pipes and they sent me the map, it ran pretty darn good. Month later added a Cam, sent me another map and it did the trick and I'm really happy with how its running. I havent spent a dime on dyno time. When I'm 100 % sure I'm done building/playing I'll take it to the Tuner that I found that I know is worth the bucks.

Couple ways to skin a cat.... FM worked out for me.

I probably would have gave them a call if I thought the bike wasn't running right after I loaded the map I got from them.

I bought the Stage 1 A/C and PC III from FM, and had a little under- power issue. I called and Buan advised me to set the throttle position. Did that and my bike is running well. I plan on dyno tuning it after the cams are done and that will be that. I think FM's customer service is great, and the canned map is good enough for now. but I also know a dyno will get the best performance out of the bike once my mods are finished.

When are peeps going to get this, you buy a canned map it is not going to perform like a complete Dyno tune(but
I wish wound)so it runs 100% right.Kinda like the ford pinto price with the Caddy ride don't happen,Talk to any great builders they don't can map anything they build and tune it,sounds like Cheap to me,HD stands for hundreds of dollars for starters,Hope the helps you in the future,OH and don't be afraid to ask.

to my knowledge narrow band sensors are what the ECM uses to "tune" itself within within it's limits. The PCV is nothing more than a piggy-back fuel management device and cannot IN ANY WAY be compared to a true tuning device or a competent dyno tuner.

OP - hats off to you sir for having the brains to get that bike tuned properly. She's happy now which means you will be happy too

Not real hard to understand why all of us that LOVE what FM has done for our community would be like... Dude... didn't you call Fuelmoto? and be a little pissy about it. I mean whenever I have a problem with a product I bought I always call a competitor to fix the problem and then head straight to the net to rag a trusted vendor. That you too? Didn't think so...

Furthermore he won't call Wisconsin to have the problem fixed because he lives in Florida. Really? He called Wisconsin to BUY the product...

So lets set that straight.

Guess I'll agree to disagree...other than saying the map was "pure junk" OP didn't bash FM...he simply stated the map was incorrect (AKA really sucked) so guess his "phrase" was inappropriate. I didn't take it as a ranting flame-fest @ FM and agree they're top-scale support...his one fail was NOT calling FM vs. proceeding to Dyno tuner & again = his check so no need to

I don't even work for FM so I don't know why it struck me so. I was probably a little harsh. Is what it is I guess.

Dyno Tuners are as varied as canned maps! Luck of the draw. There are good ones and bad ones. I've seen my share of dyno tuned bikes that folks spent a lot of money on, that ran great on the canned map and like total dog Sh-t after a dyno tune. Best advice is to know and have good references from the guy tuning your bike.

I can get and it does cost,I have 3 with motor work, make sure you like your Hobby

I also read the OP as bashing but, who cares? It's an internet forum and there a LOT more of us happy with Fuelmoto than not...I'm gonna get the best of both worlds...I bought a Powervision from Fuelmoto and I am gonna have Jamie dyno it when I go up north for Christmas this year...
