Air suspension - running with no air?

Air suspension - running with no air?
Aside from being a little rough riding, could it potentially damage the stock rear air shocks to ride with no air pressure? (This is not something I would ordinarily do but I'm curious how **** I should be about ensuring there is at least some measurable air pressure.)
By the way, the Harley air shock pump rocks!

No damage to mine, I prefer the ride with 0 air and only pump it up when I have a passengeer and the tour pac on.
Been doing it for years with no probs...

And the OM says it's OK as long as you follow the weight guidelines in the chart.
