Default Changing switch LEDs? Can it be done?

I have modded my gauges to green and now that little red LED on the cruise switch bugs the hell out of me. I thought about switching the acc. switch with the cruise switch but they are labeled right on the switch itself. So I was thinking if it were possible to change out the LEDs. Anyone ever do that? Any other suggestions?

I'm pretty sure it can be done. i think the spot light switch is green or or is it the ACC switch, hmm, I just might have to go take a look and see. It might not be too hard to remove the switch and pop the top off. just an idea for you. BTW, nice ride.

Thanks Top. For the info and the compliment. It is definitely going on the list for the winter.

Let us know how it goes! I hate the orange cruise switch also!

To get the lighting on the switch, the switch internals have clear bulbs soldered in them. They're not even led's. You get the color from the small lens that's built into the switch cap itself. I'm not sure if you could take that lens out and replace it with a different colored one. It's very small and might be glued in.

This is how it is in my '99 Ultra. Maybe the newer bikes have led's in the switches but they certainly don't look as though they are any different from the outside.
