Default soft lowers

To those who have soft lowers, are they worth it. Only $89. Thinking about getting a pair before cold weather moves in. Any flapping in the wind?

I have some soft lowers. Not HD, got them off ebay. Work well and no flapping. Worth what I paid for them, which was not $89.

I'm looking at getting a pair also. HD also has a set for 109 with a pocket and a hard piece of plastic inside. Would the plastic make these better? I wouldn't pay $20 for just a pocket.

i have H.D. soft lowers for my RG and they work great as long as you only use them when it's colder. if it's wet out or rains on your ride they keep your bike and pants cleaner also.

I run them, and they are great. They get rid of a lot of air from below and keep your legs warm when it's cold, but if it's over 60-65 out, my oil temps get higher then I like. I am probably going to bite the bullet and buy some vented lowers.
