Default 2014 limited brake pedal angle

I saw complaints on people being cramped on new ultra's and thought the brake felt different than my 12, so i had a friends 12 sg in the garage and compared pedals. Turns out it is like the pre 02 models, more straight up and shorter. I want to try a 12 pedal. Mike

Hell, I thought it was just me. My 14 feels the same way. Gonna have to check this out and see if a 12 will mount the same way.

Different shaft size......no go.

Definitely needs to be changed. I am close to chopping a pedal, or making an adjustable pedal.

I thought that it was just me getting my foot caught when coming from the boards to the pedal..

Definetly different size shaft. Took the extended pedal off of my trade in ('12 SG) and tried to put it on the '14 Ultra and shaft size is bigger for the '14. Kuryakyn said maybe by the new year they would have one out.

Same here - I thought it was just me. Coming from a '12 Road Glide Custom I knew there would be differences, but the angle of the brake pedal made the Ultra feel shorter.

Sat on one today in the showroom. first thing I noticed was how hard it was to get my foot up to the brake pedal.
