Default Key light on fob issue

Last night my bike would not start. No click no nothing just turn signal flashing. I tried the manual code entry and didn't remember the code so I pushed the bike to a different spot hoping for an RF issue and the bike started. But it had the key light on and when I hit the left turn the hazards would come on. Any suggestions? I am going to start with replacing the fob batteries.

2nd thing i would do is to retrieve your code. the procedure is in your owner's manual and is pretty easy to do.

Sounds similar to an issue I had. The no start sounds like key fob battery. But the turn signal/hazard sounds like a different problem. Check the wiring harness running under the rear fender for damage. If your bike is lowered you may have rubbed the wiring with the rear tire and caused a short.

I had a similar issue Friday night. Just riding along and the key light illuminates and stays on. And both of the turn signal indicators light up. If I used a turn signal they went off for a while, but would come back on. New fob battery, no other indication. Anybody?

I've had the "nothing" issue on my 14 SGS. Only happened a few times. Just turned the ignition off and back on. ????

Seem to have it fixed. Replaced the battery on the fob(s). bike starts fine. Found the issue with the signals. It was my equalizer. Funny those crashed at the same time but it did.
