Hey got my new TomTom Start 45M GPS amd Ram mount just wondering what is the best way for wiring

If yOur mounting it to the bars run a lead tie rap ( small black raps) down the external harness under the fairing to any lead. The gps just takes a hint of voltage to charge. Look for an ignition off feed cause you don't want to be charging the gps 24/7 with ignition off.

Run an extra Cig outlet off of the extra terminal @ the back of the headlight. I ran that to my windshield bag and use that to plug in the GPS.
It works great (just don't plug in anything with a high amp draw)

It's an ignition wire so it turns on/off automatically with the bike.

Easy access when needed.



Completely hidden when not in use.

Thanks for the input guys all hooked up, my friend is an electrician so I asked him to handle the job for me works perfect thanks
Look out 2014....already planing a trip down the east coast of U.S.A....gotta fill in my map........lol
