Default Wild 1 Chubby RK-II's (518's) - Pictures

I promised some pictures of RKC with the new Chubby's a while back and finally got around to taking some. I've had the Chubby's on for a couple of months and can't say enough about how comfortable they are. I replacedmy beach bars (see sig photo) with the Chub's.

Ride safe.

I have the same bars on my RK and they are a GREAT improvement over the stockers.

Me three! Perfect bar for the Kings. The stock ones are uncomfortable and puny.

Whiskers, that is the oldest looking 2002 I've seen yet. That is meant as a compliment, you've done a good job giving it the retro look. That's why I bought a RK Classic, I love that style. You've given me some ideas. I really like the tank badge, that's a nice touch.

How about one more pic, from the rear looking forward? That would give a good view of the width of the bars.

Whiskers, Your bike definitely rocks. If you need more confirmation, and I think you don't, you are doing it right. I'm about to put a set of fishtails on my RKC and will post some pics when I feel I am nostalgiaworthy. Just added WWW so I'm on the right track. Low pullback bars are next. Of course the subtle details are where it's at, as you know. God lives in the details. In a bourbon inspired moment I was trying a racoon tail or two on the RK. Thanks for your inspiration.

Nice looking bars there Whiskers! Been thinking about the 518's or the 508's myself. where did you find the best prices? Been looking and I haven't seen any really big discounts.

I sent a note to Terry1955 this afternoon asking whether HDForum would consider an "All Things Nostalgic" topic site. My justification is that there are a lot of riders who likeclassic, old-time looking bikes and a dedicatedsite would give us all a place to share new ideas, check out other rides and comment/report on accessories. Another point is that it would bring Dyna, Softail and Touring bike owners to a common site to discuss classic looking bikes. If you think you'd like a topic site like this, send Terry a PM.

Ride Safe.

Yep - gotta love those fishtails (although I vote for a name change to "shark fins"!

Redhwk44:

I bought the Chubby's through M & M Cycles www.mandmcycles

I paid $155 in December just before they had a small price increase. I went to the web site andchecked on both the 508's and 518's for you.

1. Drag Specialties catalogprice is $203 and if bought through M & Mare running $162 for either size.

2. Custom Chrome's catalog lists them for$190 and $164 through M & M.

M & M has several catalogs at the top of their web site (including HD accessory) and all you have to do is search for your item, copy the product #, place it in the search engine and your discounted price shows up. I do just about all my shopping at this site and have saved quite a bit.

Ride Safe.
