$50 to ship a damn headlight to me from PA to TX via UPS ground.. no wonder their prices are for the most part less than everyone else.. they screw you on shipping.

Surdyke Harley wanted $34 to ship a Daymaker to me in Texas. Then I found that they have a code for free shipping! Most of the web sales places set their shipping rates based on value and not actual weight. I've experienced this and called dealers and they've adjusted their shipping fees when asked.

www.LSHD1.com has the best prices followed closely by www.kutterharleyonline.com. LSHD free shipping over $500, Kutter free shipping over $100.

I've gotten suff from Surdyke before but I don't anymore. They charge your credit card when you place the order even if they don't have/can't get the part. Not a big fan of that.

I've been buying from Kutter HD or Leatherup.com
Free shipping on anything over $100 at Kutter or over $89 at Leatherup. Lower prices then most local dealers, even if you tack on shipping with Kutter.
I've also found some good prices at directcycleparts.com

LSHD1 has free shipping over x amount but they seem to take forever to do anything. after checking pricing amongst many of them and confirming with a phone call to newcastle that they were going to charge me $49.82 to ship a headlight I just ordered it from LSHD1. Takes a bit longer but the pricing was much better.

68000075 - passing lamps msrp $359, NC - 304.87, LSHD1 - 287.96 and $0 shipping
67700173 - headlamp msrp $424, NC 349.64, LSHD1 - 339.56 and $0 shipping

hopefully I won't be dissapointed with these as I was with the original daymakers...

I've had pretty good luck with LSHD. Never noticed a long wait. I haven't gotten anything from Kutter yet as the last few times I've ordered it was over $500 and LSHD was cheaper. But it was only a few bucks.

i ordered 5 replacement snaps for my jeep top once.price was $4.99, shipping was $14 to send them 50 miles..

ordered a set of fiberglass seats once for a railbuggy total was $100 with free shipping. they sent the wrong ones. it would have cost me $80 to ship them back to get the rite ones

what gets me is when you order something relatively small, then you get a huge shipping bill and it shows up in a 3'x3'x3' box stuffed with paper. that is probably how this headlight is going to show up.

Kutter. Free shipping for anything over $100.00. You can get the prices online, and normally they are about 15-20% off list. No brainer.
