Default Wrapped baffle vs unwrapped

I'm thinking about wrapping the baffle in my fatcat. I 'theorize' that it will take some of the raspy sound out of it, but I may be mistaken. Anyone have a wrapped baffle that can comment on the sound?

I just changed my louvered baffle to a wrapped baffle, it is quieter but not by a lot. If you have a louvered baffle it has a metal cover that will have to be cut off if you are going to wrap it, I ordered a wrapped baffle from D&D rather than mess with cutting the old one.
As far as the sound I think it is less raspy and a little deeper tone.

That solved that question. I don't want to destroy a perfectly good baffle in the interest of changing the tone. Thanks.
