Same antennae I have been using for several years and works great with great reception. At least as much as you can get with a hidden antennae. However I use a USB stick for music mostly.

It is not the HD antenna either , I have the same problem using an USB charger and I am using the stock whip antenna in the fairing. I put the stock whip back to the fender problem gone. I tried a different USB charger also but no luck

I went ahead and ordered the iSimple Polywire from Amazon...it was like $31. When I get it and put it on I'll let ya know what happens. I figured this was a safer bet then a direct wire USB.

I have the same one and I can hear my turn signals through it. Definitely NOT a good investment.

I use radio when two up because the OL doesn't enjoy my heavy metal as much as I do.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that

I've got a morning traffic report on CD, but it's always wrong.

OK, the iSimple Polywire came in yesterday and since the GOV saw it fitting to shut down and furlough me I decided to put it in today to see if it would help with the FM problem. It did. It's raining so I didn't bother to pull the bike out of the garage but inside the reception with the phone plugged in is 100x better.

I got the Polywire from Amazon for $31 and it charges the phone and has a jack for the radio.

Just an FYI.

I, for one, do.
I have the J&M fairing antenna and while it doesn't work any better than any other hidden antenna, it does work while a phone is charging.

I also have the HD XM module and it works fine while charging a phone in the trunk.
