Default 2013 FLHX LED Tail Light Options

Custom Dynamics seems to be the company most recommended. Are there other comparable options? Has anyone replaced the stock lightbar with something better?

Appreciate the advice.

Not a replacement, but you could go with CD's bullet LED's all around and add their 8" Plasma Rods as added rear illumination.

Check out Badlands. Their products are made in the US and have a lifetime warranty. Great folks to deal with!

You can try this. Unlike the HD option, it is die cast metal. I checked on it for my bike but they don't have one for a 14 yet.

Just installed HD's Tri Bar light upgrade on mine (67774-10). While I was installing the quick detach docking kit for the passenger back rest I decided to add a HD Air Wing rack with LED light on it. The new tri bar acts as a brake light, where the stocker doesn't. The LED on the Air Wing plugs into the stock rear light wiring harness so it works as tail and brake light also. The rear signal lights already worked as brake/tail lights from the factory. Just got to make them a little brighter. I like to be seen out there.
Now looking for a couple of LED replacements for the stock 1157 bulbs back there. I think I want to keep the stock configuration and lenses. I bought some cheapo 1157 replacements off Amazon. Bad move. The LED part twisted away from the base when turning the first one into the socket. Not very high quality units, hence the price.

I did the HD Tri-Bar as well. Also added Custom Dynamics Dynamic Ringz in front and red LED's rear with a strobe kit on the back, and covered all with smoked covers. Have a T/L phase 7 as well for headlight. Been happy and get comments from many about how bright they are, especially when the strobe goes off when I hit the brake.

Thanks for replying. Both CD and Badlands note their products are not DOT approved and should be used for off-roading.

Any idea why? Are they too bright that they're distracting to other drivers? Will you pass inspection with them installed?
