i have a 12 CVO RGC. Never wanted or needed a tour pak, never wanted or needed lowers. Have about 15K on my CVO
Ride in all types of weather, rain, cold, heat, etc. great bike. Chose the 12 CVO over 11 RGU CVO, due to fact it did not have lowers and tour pak.
Have an 04 RG. Have a tour pak, have lowers, both tour pak and lower sitting on shelf in garage. They Have not been installed on the bike since 09. if i need them i have them. Never need them.
Conculsion, RG is a great bike, regardless of how it is equiped, if you want lowers and a tour pack, get them, if not don't.
