Default Trying to stay positive, but buying this 14 Ultra was a BIG mistake.

First day, it puked fuel out under the fuel tank, now it has a security issue. It is a REAL pain in the *** getting it back to the dealer. I have had 5 new Harleys and up to this point NEVER had to take one back for anything. Twice in 3 weeks.............starting to wear on me.

It isn't like the techs have been trained on the equipment either, I was at the dealer today talking to a friend, he said they have been selling the crap out of them but he has not been trained on how to fix them, it was a big secret to keep , and then they push them out , and expect the dealers to fix them with no training on the release.
He said he has set up one of the 14s himself and liked the performance of the twin cooling, but that is all he has had to deal with them because the shop is 3 weeks back logged as far as service.
He thinks it makes dealers look like they don't know crap.

Sorry to hear this. I would feel the same way if it were me. Hopefully they get your new bike fixed up soon and you have many trouble free miles in the future. Hang in there!

I can feel your pain, hope the MOCO steps up like it did for the other forum member; his was so bad they gave him a full refund. I would bet they will make your scooter right, still sucks. I really like the 2014 model line up and if I had the money I would consider buying one. Keep us informed we want to know!

I wasn't upset the first day when it leaked the fuel, but the second issue makes me feel like I have inherited a problem child. Hopefully once the security problem gets fixed nothing else will rear it's ugly head...................................I was going on a 300 mile trip this Saturday too.
