Default Sportster pulley on 07 streetglide

I have to replace the rear tire on my 07 Streetglide and thought it might be a good opportunity to change the pulley to a 68 tooth sportster pulley. I've searched the related threads and am confused about which part number to buy. I'm not going to put the Cush drive on so I think the correct part is #40354-07. Am I correct?

Thanks for the help!

Don

According to this the part # is 40350-07
partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/ronnies/showmodel.asp?Type=13&make=hdmc&a=629&b=19&c=0&d=-BELTS-&-SPROCKETS

I did the 68T on my Ultra and it's a nice improvement. Not a big one but noticeable. I had already upgraded to IDS so had to go with the Japanese Sportster sprocket.

Here's a deal for you. Just change the bearing in the pulley and you're set. Best mod I did for my '07. Sixth is now usable. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...-and-bowl.html

That IDS pulley is still a 66T, not what the OP had in mind.

I'm running a 68 tooth sprocket on my 07 RK Police with a 160/80 Dunlop Elite III on the rear. My speedometer reads 30 mph, side of the road radar indicated 27 mph.

Default 68 teeth

You will not be disappointed.

60 in 5th is 3000 or so.
70 in 6th is just below 3000.
80 in 6th is 3200.

Power is right where you want it.

If you need to you can run 6th gear as low as 60mph.

IDS is also very nice.

Just did this to my 07 EG last week. Put in the 30 tooth drive pulley as well. Really made a big improvement in the performance. Much more responsive.
