Give Mean City Cycles a call www.meancitycycles.com They can rebuild your seat to your specs and add gel and memory foam. It will cost a lot less then a new seat or seats depending on how many you go through until you find the right one.

the mean city sounds like it may be the way to go , has anyone tried the gel cushion ?

I have gel in my c&c seat and love it! but, c&c seats are firmer than a stock seat, and I like that much better too.

I have the sport touring for a 2010 Streetglide and love it. Not sure that would be the right fit for you but I'm sure they have the proper seat for all day rides.

If you really want a long distance comfortable seat check out Russell "day long Seats"

Personally, I think a seat can break in a butt over several longish trips. Fitness & exercise helps, too.

When I weighed 100lbs more than I do now I always found that the SG seat was pretty comfortable and the stock Ultra seats were miserable. Now it is just the opposite. Must be because of less padding in my ***. LOL I hated the seat on my 2012 SG and it killed me after a few hours. The stock seat on my 2013 RG Ultra I could go all day on with zero issues.
