On my 06 RK I have V&H true duals with 4" Rinehart slip ons. Sounds great

On my 12 Ultra, I'm running Rush Racing ceramic coated true dual headers and Rush Racing exhaust. Nice, deep rumble without being obnoxious unless I want it to :-)

If I was going to replace , I'd go with either the Jackpot header with the cross over or the V&H X-pipe header. With either I'll stick with my Rush exhaust .

Give them a listen, they sound sweet...but everyone's opinion is different and the only one that matters for your bike is YOU, I'm not a big fan of 2-1 headers on a bagger , even with a ghost pipe, but that's just me!

 

I have to add my two cents to this thread. I just junked my Bassani power curve duals (junk, for so many reasons) and my Super Trapp mufflers for the S&S Power Tunes and the matching S&S Power Tour mufflers. I have an '04 Road King with a Stage 1 on the TC 88 (built on a Wednesday) and I couldn't be happier. The Bassani's and Super Trapps would backfire so loud sometimes on startup that I thought I was being shot at. Not to mention the popping on decel. None of that happens with the new setup and I did not change the mapping. It now has a nice low rumble, with no popping or backfire at all, and I can feel the increase in power and torque. It is like a new bike. The fact that the pipes are good looking doesn't hurt, either.

 

No it cannot not, I tried it on a 2008 Ultra Classic, then put on Cobra True Duals and got the center stand back on, then put the bike back to the stock exhaust and traded for a 2014 Ultra Limited.
