Alarm help
Hello all, I have a 2012 streetglide, was out for a ride today enjoying the fall weather, after a couple hour i stopped for a beverage in a small town watering hole, was in there maybe 15mins. When i came out my bike wouldn't start, lights were flashing like it does when you don't have your fob. Battery dead? So i try finding a new battery nothings open in the small town but the waitress has a command start with the same battery so i try it and still nothing changes. Both batteries dead? Next i go into using the access code to over ride the alarm system, still nothing. Could the main battery have been to weak to turn bike over after trying 8-10 times? Shouldn't i wouldn't suspect. The fob dead, and the waitress's battery just to weak? Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Put the sequence to start without fob in your phone. Change the P.I.N. number on your bike if you have not done so yet, if not I can walk up to your bike and start it because I know the sequence and the factory pin. Then practice starting without fob every so often because it can be confusing.
I hear tell on the forum that if you park next to something that interferes with the signal just push the bike 25 feet into the open and that should do it. Such things as some fuel pumps, building security systems etc.

and don't put your fob in the same pocket as your cellphone, that can mess with things as well.
and really, learn the override code, running around trying to bum a battery from someone else's fob is really not the way to do it.

Well not sure what it was exactly but she fired right up this morning. The battery was new in fob this spring ( still shoulda had a spare I guess to eliminate that as an issue ). Not really sure why the code wouldn't work thou, my fob wasn't dead being that she fired this morning. I don't keep my fob in the same pocket as cell phone, but it was in a pocket with the fob for my truck, is it possible it messed with it? Not to sure what to think exactly but if I find some definite answer I'll post again. Thanks Guys
