pony, what the heck is a "love bug"? never heard of them. those an LED set of headlights on Big Red? how you like them? i have the the other type of LEDs and not particularly fond of them. great on the highway but not so good out in the back roads. hard to see the critters cause they are so focused....pluss, the light pattern is horizontal and you feel like a plane bakning when in a turn. glad you're back and having fun.

We call the "love bugs" "telephone bugs" and "f" and "k" bugs. Telephone bugs because they say hello and then hang up. We call the f and k bugs because where ever you see "f" u c "k".
You call that a splatter, that ain't nothing. Wait till you can't see the paint or through the windscreen and that's no exaggeration. Swarm is bad here in the mid morning hours, not so bad late afternoon. Wash it off daily and get a good wax on it.
If the ride was good, they should be all in the teeth too.
There are more of them waiting on you and red.
And they love LED's.
Go get'em!
Ride safe, great to have you back!
Last Saturday I left Opelika, AL for the last leg home from the Hot Bike Power Tour and HD 110 Party. Everything was great until a little South of Valdosta, GA through about Ocala. This is at a gas stop near Gainsville, FL. Did I mention I hate Love BUGS?!!???!
