How many miles does your dealer put on your bike
I took my '14 Limited in for its 1k checkup the other day and I looked at the mileage before I went into the service writer cuz I knew he'd ask. It was exactly 1400 miles. When I picked it up I happened to look at the odometer and it was at 1410. I understand test riding the bike if you've had some work done on it to make sure its fixed properly, but this was a 1k service. Change the fluids, check this and tighten that. Ok maybe a quick 2 or 3 mile check ride around the block. But 10 miles?? Was wondering if the salesman had an important customer and somebody got a demo ride. What are you guys seeing on your bikes?

this is the second post asking this the last week.
I would be reassured if a tech did a proper job inspecting the bike and road tested it.
i live about 3 miles from a dealer, on occasion I will see a dealer tech run past my place headed for the freeway- I suppose that is what you'd want is there has been some concern about an issue which occurs at speed.

OK to get opinions and info here, but you should be asking the service manager. If I recollect correctly, I see about 8 or 9 miles on mine when I get it back. Never thought twice about it. If you honestly think the dealer would let someone "test ride" your bike, IMO there's something seriously wrong there somewhere. Sounds like you don't trust them. If that's true, get it straight with them or go elsewhere or you'll always have lingering questions in your head about this and that every time your bike is there.
