Dude, love it. I am 6'1' and 350 lbs. big boy I am. I am going to do the same thing . I am trying to decide between 16' and 18'. How tall are you? I love to runwithout the windsheild, but like you, need the wind break on the highway. Never occured to me to cut the windsheild. Good idea. How much did you say it ran you for all the parts? And are your bars 1', 1 1/4"? Saw some fat 1 1/2" bars that come with a riser for rk....Going to be 250 for just the bars and riser + all thecables.I have a grand to spend and it would be close w/labor cost. Not sure if I could do it all myself and with my luck, I would get stuck and not be able to ride to a shop. Sweet look, just a matter of time. Anyone in the Albuquerque area that could help with my install , I would buy the bourbon!

Dude that does rock, very nice indeed. I've had apes on all my bikes but went with just the RK highs on my RK Classic. But now...hmmmm...maybe when I get back from the big sand box that'll be what I spend all that tax free cash on...
